The brainchild of our best-mustached developer, Joe Spanier, LBX was conceived as a one-of-a-kind event to foster the LightBurn community and provide an in-person forum for sharing knowledge. We proudly price our tickets below our operating costs to keep LBX accessible to as many users as possible.

LBX is a weekend full of classes, speakers, and social events, all focused on growing your network and building your skills. Learn more about lasers, design, and project techniques. Sara is our Chief Creative Officer. She has a BFA in graphic design from MICA, and over twenty years of design and marketing experience.

Attendee and Vendor Wrangler

Tyler is our Copy Lead and Documentation Editor. He attended NYU and holds a degree in history that he’s put to no practical use.

Joe is our best-mustached Developer and Vendor Relations Lead. A former Automation Engineer, he has been a DIY CNC mad scientist for two decades.

Claudio Donndelinger

Speaker Wrangler

Claudio is our External Events Lead and one of our Documentation Writers. He owes his 15 years of digital fabrication experience to a lifelong passion for learning and community building.
